Pearls

Chanel's oversized pearls have hit like a storm, already being seen on the likes of fashion bloggers and celebrities such as Miley Cyrus. For me the choker was the winner, the huge headphone-like quality to the piece. Obviously there is no way I could stretch to the original piece, but a quick trawl through the internet and I have found a replacement.

This simple piece from Zara is enough like the Chanel piece for my heart to fall for it, yet unique enough to have a flair all of it's own. The gold and the not (too) ostentatious pearls make it a killer piece for summer.

Perfume

Every season there is a bag, that takes the fashion week by storm and is seen on the arms and in the clutches of fashion royalty. The Chanel perfume bag has risen to that status. Already given the star of approval on the fashion circuit, its not hard to see why, and to not fall in love with it yourself. In the style of their classic No.5 bottle, made from clear perspex with their staple chain handle, it embodies Chanel on another level.

Topshop is killer at the moment, and all these items are taken from their 'New In' section. The playsuit is a personal favourite, and a real summer essential to be either dressed up or down.

Flat-Lay

Elinkling.com

I absolutely adore this flat-lay from Elin Kling's blog. The casualness of the sneakers with ankle socks and jacket, with the leather dress is just a perfect match. Rarely is black and brown done so well.

Lime Crime

The Pink Velvetine from Lime Crime is my new favourite lip colour. It's such a vibrant 'shocking' pink and the lasting life on it is amazing! I wore mine for 8 hours with no problems, including eating and drinking. It goes on almost like a gloss, and dries matte very quickly and just stays put. I'm eager to try the other Velvetine colours and I could not recommend them enough to people. Only a few places sell them in the UK (I ordered mine from the American site)
Some places you can buy them from are:

Killer

Balmain
I've had a long love affair with Balmain, their pieces are so decadent and over the top, but in the most fantastic of ways. There is also an element of hate, those prices and the fact there's a high chance I will never own a piece. Sigh. This moto leather skirt is no exception to 'LOVE' rule and I love the amount of hardware on it. Gorgeous.

Skull Reinvented

The beautiful collaboration between Damien Hirst and Alexander Mcqueen is breathtaking, and that's before you even watched the video. Based on Hirst's Entomology series, 30 different designs have been released crawling with a menagerie of insects, yet hidden between the floods are skulls. The famous Alexander Mcqueen scarf, taken to a new level.

British Jewellers

Both of these gorgeous items, was purchased from British stores on Etsy. I love spending an evening trawling through the unique and handmade items on this online community, and you can find some real gems. The first two rings are from La Dee Da, and are definitely appealing to my nerdier side (hello Alien obsessed). Both rings are of lovely quality, are re-sizable and at £4 are a steal!
The second ring was from The Rogue and The Wolf, it's a hand made cat skull. Such an fascinating item and again, gorgeously made. There is so much detail to it, and it always gets a lot of comments.
